The doctors are giving Anne’s stomach a long rest. She is being fed intravenously and will be for some time. Without eating, the vomiting has stopped, but she still sometimes has pain. Overall, she is much better.
At the doctor’s insistence, Rosi and Chris have left the hospital for periods of time and driven around Columbia. We went to Fulton, Missouri, the place of Winston Churchill‘s “iron curtain” speech. It also has Christopher Wren church relocated piece by piece at Westminster College. You can see some pictures here.
Anne has been able to communicate with friends via Skype or Facetime and her aunt, Sandra, has been able to help her with her German assignments.
